KDissert, Mind-mapping for Linux

Mind-mapping is an effective way to study complex subjects, by creating a visual tree were concepts interact with each other, but most importantly, they grow from a common central point. For example, you start reading a book and you put in the central point, the main concept. Then as the details are added, through the various chapters, you'll add branches that spawn from the central point. In the end, you'll get a kind of "neural cell" with synapses representing the detailed concepts.

Seems confusing? Well, it's not! Have a look to KDissert, a tool to help you draw these diagrams. There is also a nice flash presentation.
